The tale of the Empress of Austria, memorably captured in the "Sissi" trilogy, is re-imagined here as a zany animated fairy tale. Princess Lissi (Michael Bully Herbig) and her beloved husband, Emperor Franz Joseph (Christian Tramitz), live a happy life of decadent privilege -- that is, until a yeti (Waldemar Kobus) kidnaps Lissi to give her to the Devil. Now Franz must leave his posh surroundings to rescue his beautiful bride before she's taken beyond the dark gates of the underworld.
