<![CDATA[Star Tribune Obituaries: Obituaries]]> (2)

Aafedt, Michael "Mick" age 81, of Minneapolis passed away on May 19, 2024, from Lewy Body Dementia. Mick knew how to love and to give generously, live compassionately, and with integrity. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is remembered for his intellect, charm, quick wit, and his strong "blue eyes." Mick is survived by his loving wife, Deb Sundquist, his sons David (Katie) and Matt, and five grandchildren: Payton, Ryan, Fuzz, Reese, and Mac; sister-in-law Merilee Light; family Jody Aafedt; stepchildren, Britta (Andrew), Jack, Greta, and Kristin; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia "Pat" Aafedt, nee "Light," his brother, Leroy, and his parents, Art and Marguerite, as well as Pat's parents Ken and Amelia Light. Mick was born in Grand Forks, ND, and moved to Fargo where he graduated from Fargo Central High School. In 1961, he left North Dakota for St. Olaf College where he graduated with honors and met and fell in love with Pat. After graduating, Mick went to the University of Minnesota Law School while Pat's work as a teacher supported them. Mick was the youngest partner in the history of the 100-year plus law firm, and soon became the managing partner and president of the Minneapolis law firm of Aafedt, Forde, where he was a respected litigator and mediator in workers' compensation law. He was highly respected by both sides of the aisle while testifying at the Legislature, and in litigation, by both parties in the case caption. He was repeatedly recognized in America's Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers, both as a litigator and mediator. Mick was an unbelievably supportive parent and role model, not only for his two boys, but their countless friends who would often congregate at "the Aafedt's" on Lake Harriet. During these impromptu get-togethers in the Aafedt kitchen, den, or porch, he always attempted to provide little life lessons, usually when he sensed that his boys and friends were about to head out for a night on the town and do something unwise. He never missed a kids' sporting event, concert or other activity in which his boys or their friends participated, even if that meant that he had to work long hours well into the night. Mick and Pat were Minnesota Gopher Men's Basketball super fans and created a scholarship fund after Pat died in 2007. Mick married Deb in 2011 and together they had a happy marriage. Mick was a member and board member at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, a board member and volunteer at Southside Children's Center in Minneapolis, and member of the Minikahda Club. A special thanks to the staff and medical professionals at Open Circle and The Waters on 50th for the excellent care provided to Mick. Services will be held at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, 5025 Knox Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., with a visitation at noon. A Reception will follow at Interlachen Country Club, 6200 Interlachen Blvd., Edina MN. Please wear a touch of blue to remember our Mickey Blue Eyes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mick Aafedt's memory to the Alzheimer's Association of Minnesota and North Dakota, 12701 Whitewater Drive, Suite 290, Minnetonka, MN 55343, www.alz.org/mnnd or the Safi School Foundation, Safi Foundation, PO Box 8275, Lacey WA 98509. www.Washburn-McReavy.com Edina Chapel 952-920-3996 West 50th St. & Hwy 100

<![CDATA[Star Tribune Obituaries: Obituaries]]> (6)

Eva Lou Elaine Aanenson, 99, passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct 11, 2024. Born in Rock County, near Luverne, Minnesota on June 24,1925 to Harry and Lena (Hamann) Beers. Eva Lou lived on a farm and went to Country School in Rock County near Luverne, where she first met her future husband, Curtis Aanenson. She graduated from Luverne High School and later moved to Minneapolis. Eva Lou and Curtis Aanenson were married on August 18, 1949 in Minneapolis. They started raising their family in Richfield, where all three children were born. In 1959 they moved to Minnetonka. Eva Lou enjoyed golf, playing bridge, bowling, sewing, knitting, needlework, crafts, dancing with Curtis and entertaining guests at their home. She was an excellent cook and was well known for her delicious desserts (pies, cakes, bars, cookies). Eva Lou was a huge supporter of her children's events. She was a Camp Fire leader and a dedicated fan, always in attendance for baseball, hockey, basketball games, gymnastics meets, and any other organized event of her family. In the late 1980's Eva Lou and Curtis began to visit Arizona during the winters. Other memorable travels included a "once in a lifetime" trip around the world on the Concorde and a cruise through the Panama Canal. They began spending more time in Arizona in the 1990s and bought a second home in Rio Verde, which they visited every winter. Over the next 30 years they were able, and fortunate, to continue their world and domestic travels. For years, Eva Lou was a member of The Women's Club of Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Golf Club, and the Rio Verde Country Club. Eva Lou had an amazing ability to remember people and details from her life experiences. Whether it be an old high school classmate, an old neighbor, a friend of her children, or a person she just met. She was sincerely interested in reaching out and reconnecting, which resulted in many life-long friendships. Eva Lou and Curtis moved into assisted living in Phoenix (Clearwater - Mayo Blvd) in late 2022, where again, she made many new friends and continued to do some baking for her new community, friends, and staff at the young age, of 97. In August, Eva Lou recently celebrated her 75th wedding anniversary with Curtis. Eva Lou touched and enriched so many people's lives, during her 99 years, with her friendly ways and special spirit. She was the centerpiece of the family who was always reaching out to everyone, staying in touch, and wanting to know what was going on in their lives. Her deep love for her family, relatives, and friends will be so fondly remembered and missed. Preceded in death by parents Harry and Lena Beers, brother Roger Beers (Gayle), and son David Aanenson. Survived by husband, Curtis Aanenson; children, Gloria Aanenson and Jim Aanenson (Kelly); grandchildren, Nicole Craig (Ben), Kara Aanenson, Aaron Aanenson, Ross Aanenson, Tyler Aanenson (Kira), and Hayley Shimek (Jordan); great- grandchildren, Lily Craig and Audrey Craig and daughter-in-law Kathy Aanenson. Eva Lou's family would like to thank the Clearwater staff (assisted living), the medical staff at Mayo Clinic and Sherman Home (Hospice of the Valley) in Phoenix, Arizona for their excellent care and bedside manner. <![CDATA[Star Tribune Obituaries: Obituaries]]> (21)

Acton, Kay Merlyn Age 92, of Roseville, MN passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 surrounded by her adoring children. Born in Hallock, MN on January 22, 1932, Kay lived in Kennedy, MN before relocating to St. Anthony Park with her family during WWII. She attended Murray HS and the U of M, where she earned a degree in nursing and began a career as a public health nurse. On September 19, 1953 Kay married Roger Acton. Together they had five children and Kay's nursing career gave way to the full time job of raising a family. She and Roger built a cabin near Brainerd, MN and it became the focus of their weekends and summers. There Kay played guitar and sang folk songs with her young family. She taught countless children to swim, waterski, ice skate, and X-country ski. She was a master at toasting the perfect marshmallow. Kay found joy in each season of the north woods, delighting in quiet morning canoe rides in summer, the turning leaves of fall, sledding in winter, and the return of singing frogs each spring. After a 17 year hiatus, Kay re- entered the nursing field as a school nurse at Jackson Jr. High, and later Coon Rapids Middle School, where she worked until retirement. She later volunteered with Northeast Senior Services, providing free transportation to medical appointments for senior citizens, and lent her nursing skills to a medical mission trip to Honduras. Kay enjoyed meeting new people and learning about different cultures. She would become a host- mom to 8 foreign exchange students while raising her own children. She was an avid traveler, visiting all 7 continents, the last of which was Antarctica where she celebrated her 81st birthday. At a young age, Kay discovered her love of music while on a school field trip to the MN symphony. She became an accomplished pianist, sang in her school and church choirs and was a lifelong supporter of the Minnesota Orchestra. Kay delighted in all that life had to offer and truly made the most of her days on this earth. Survived by children, Cindy Acton, Patty Beaudry, Mary (Richard) Crist, Becky (Tony) Monteforte, and Tom Acton; Dutch daughter, Afke; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne (Bonnie) Johnson; and sister, Susan Petropoulos. Preceded in death by parents, Merle and Nora Johnson; brother, Kurth; and former spouse, Roger Acton. Kay will be remembered every year when the frogs sing and the loons call. A memorial service will be held on April 19, 2024 at Faith United Methodist Church, 2708 33rd Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418, with visitation at 10 AM, service at 11 AM. <![CDATA[Star Tribune Obituaries: Obituaries]]> (27)

Adams, Stephen Entrepreneur and Philanthropist, Dies at 86Stephen Adams, an entrepreneur with diverse business interests and a long personal history of giving, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2024 at his home in Connecticut with his wife and best friend Denise and family members at his side.Born and raised in Minnesota, Adams received his early education from The Blake School in Minneapolis before earning his bachelor's degree in 1959 from Yale University where he was a member of Skull and Bones and an MBA degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1962. Adams was a recipient in 2006 of the Arbuckle Award, the Stanford Graduate School of Business Alumni Association's most prestigious honor, and the Yale Medal of Honor in 2009, the highest award given by the Yale Alumni Association.Throughout his professional career, Adams was a businessman and private equity investor. He achieved much of his financial success through his acquisition, control and operation of a variety of ventures in several industries, including soft-drink bottling, community banking, community newspaper publishing, television and radio broadcasting, outdoor advertising, recreational vehicles, camping supplies, farms and vineyards. He was active for much of his career in the Young Presidents' Organization, a global leadership community of chief executives. Adams enjoyed fostering the success of promising young entrepreneurs and his generosity of spirit is embodied by his maxim "You are not measured by who you are, but by who you bring along."Adams' desire to encourage and support others was reflected in every aspect of his life. He was a devoted husband and family man and a close friend to many, winning over all he met with his charming, open nature, quick wit and infectious laugh. He was a true gentleman and held himself to the highest standards of character and integrity. Adams was deeply committed to his faith and a life of service and his charitable efforts were matched only by his humility in giving. Adams' legacy will be measured in lives touched and loving moments shared.Stephen and Denise shared a passion for winemaking and are the proprietors of vineyards in both the Napa Valley of California and the Bordeaux region of France. It is a point of great pride to the Adams' that they have earned a place as members of the winemaking community in both regions, and that their vineyards are farmed using bio-dynamic methods.Stephen Adams was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Cedric and Bernice Adams. His father was a noted Minneapolis Star newspaper columnist and WCCO radio announcer. His mother was a devoted wife and mother who was closely involved in Cedric and Stephen's lives. He is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Denise Rhea Adams. He is also survived by his four sons Stephen (Bonnie), Mark (Tyler), Kent (Mandy), and Scott (Anne), who are his children with his first wife, Ginney Sue Ridgway, who predeceased him. Stephen also was a significant influence in the lives of his step-children, Weesa, Forrie and Nick Burke, from his second marriage to Barbara Forster. Adams was pre-deceased by his brothers, David Adams and Cedric Adams II. Adams is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The great joy of Adams' later years were his grandchildren, Adlon, Charles, Julia, Olivia, Lilia, Connor, Ruby, Blake and Elle.As ardent but discreet philanthropists, Stephen and Denise were supporters of Yale University and the Yale School of Music, the Stanford Graduate School of Business, World Vision and other organizations that benefit the arts, education and humanitarian causes. The Adams' dedication to the advancement of neurosciences research and care continues in partnership with Yale New Haven Hospital, through the construction and development of the hospital complex known as the Adams Neurosciences Center, and with Yale University, through the development of the Stephen and Denise Adams Center for Parkinson's Research.Adams once said of himself, "My wife and I are Christians and the Bible speaks of giving in secret," and he lived his life that way. As one result, a $100 million donation to the Yale School of Music was given anonymously in 2005 and only came to light years later. It was not until his mid-50s when he was already a successful businessman and avid wine collector that Adams embarked on a new pursuit: the piano. He explained the decision saying that he had "been a businessman all my life and had fully exercised the left side of my brain" and it was time to exercise the right side. It was this new musical interest that eventually led to his record-setting gift to the Yale School of Music. For the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Adams endowed three distinguished professorships in marketing, finance and operations. Stephen and Denise also funded development of a building and other facilities at Stanford University for the Veritas Forum, a program at over 200 universities throughout the country that invites shared exploration of ideas between the Christian faith and other beliefs. They also have been long-time supporters of Gordon College and Westmont College, where they endowed professorships, Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts and the Blake School.Consistent with Adams' preference, a private funeral service has been held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to: Adams Neurosciences Center Building Fund https://secure.givetoynhh.org/site/Donation2?df_id=3861&mfc_pref=T&3861.donation=form1 or World Vision https://www.worldvision.orgCondolences:http://www.munsonloveterefuneralhome.comFor further information:https://medicine.yale.edu/news-article/parkinsons-disease-research-center-being-formed-at-yale/https://www.ynhh.org/news/ynhh-breaks-ground-on-neurosciences-centerhttps://music.yale.edu/2017/01/17/adams-center-musical-arts-opens https://www.northbaybiz.com/2022/09/02/adamvs/

Adams, Robert Merritt "Bob" age 89, of Eden Prairie passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024. A celebration of Bob's life will take place 11 a.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024, at the Centenary United Methodist Church, 501 South Second Street, Mankato, with visitation from 10:15 a.m.-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Mankato. Northview North Mankato Mortuary is assisting with arrangements. Bob and his twin sister, Ruth, were born on June 16, 1935, at Immanuel Hospital in Mankato. He and his siblings grew up in Mankato. Bob graduated from Mankato High School in 1953 and immediately enrolled at Mankato State Teachers College (now Minnesota State University, Mankato). His college career was interrupted when he was inducted into the US Army in 1955. He went through basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, and then was stationed in Japan in 1956 and 1957. After his discharge, he returned to Mankato and resumed his college education in 1958, graduating with a degree in Business Administration in 1961. After stints at Craig-Hallum, International Milling, and North American Aviation (in Los Angeles), Bob joined National City Bank of Minneapolis in 1967 as Director of Data Processing and managed the data processing department until he retired in 1996. Ironically, the founders of National City Bank, Dwayne and Lowell Andreas, had been customers of Bob's when he pumped gasoline in Mankato during his high school years. Bob loved tennis, golf, downhill skiing, fast cars, and traveling to exotic locations, especially Big Sur. In retirement, Bob traveled extensively and spent many winters in Florida. For several years, he joined a group of friends for an annual ski trip to Aspen, CO. Robert is survived by siblings, Phyllis Livdahl, Loren W. "John" Adams, twin Ruth Adams, and Richard Adams; stepchildren, Paul and David Engbritson; as well as nieces, nephews, and friends, especially his dear friend, Bobbi Rankin. Adams, Dr. Richard I. Richard Adams was born on January 28, 1937 and died on September 30, 2024 in Plymouth, MN at age 87. Preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Mildred (Whiting) Adams and brothers Clifford, Jim, and Robert. Survived by his brother Loren 'John' Adams, sisters Ruth and Phyllis, and many other family members, friends, neighbors and beloved dog Daisy. Richard grew up on a farm and later in the city of Mankato. The youngest of 7 children, he graduated from Mankato High School, Mankato State College and the University of Minnesota Medical School. He practiced medicine in the Twin Cities and in the US Army, reaching the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Early in his medical career, Richard and his wife Phyllis lived with their 2 children in Minneapolis. Richard became a linguistic hit with the neighborhood kids whenever he said 'wretched.' Those same neighborhood kids got a kick when their parents enrolled in disco lessons. The neighborhood parents never made it on Soul Train or Dance Fever, but, we hope they had fun. His love of the PBS show 'This Old House' helped his efforts working with others to build homes in Colorado and Florida. He clearly was fond of farm life, which led him and his older brother Loren 'John' to own farmland near each other in Minnesota. He later spent some of his retirement time at his home in Florida. We'll miss his vast knowledge of flora and fauna. Richard laughed a lot in the 1970s while watching The Carol Burnett Show. His son was very grateful to see Richard laugh again while watching M.A.S.H. episodes during his last few weeks in hospice care: thank you Larry Linville. Through it all, Richard never forgot about Mankato in his last few months and he showed great concern about the recent flooding. Special thanks to his neurologist at the Minneapolis VA along with the ER and Nursing Unit 3F staff for their care of Richard in early 2024. He later went into hospice care with Interim HealthCare at Mission Nursing Home in Plymouth. We also want to thank all the staff at Mission Nursing Home and Interim HealthCare for taking care of Richard. Memorials preferred to benefit the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, University of Minnesota Medical School, your local PBS station, National Park Foundation, or any Parkinson's organization. You can also now grab a bite to eat at The Dam Store Cafe in Mankato. Graveside service 1PM Friday, October 25th at Fort Snelling Cemetery, Hwy 494 at 34th Avenue, please meet in Assembly Area # 2 no later than 12:45pm. Visitation 4-6PM Thursday, October 24th with 6PM time of sharing at: www.Washburn-McReavy.com Edina Chapel 952-920-3996 West 50th St. & Hwy 100

<![CDATA[Star Tribune Obituaries: Obituaries]]> (33)

Adams, John Stephen Professor John S. Adams, 86, died November 19, 2024, from plasma cell leukemia. He was at home with his family around him. John was born in Minneapolis on September 7, 1938. His mother, Ellen C. (Cullen) Adams, was born to Irish immigrant parents in Chicago and migrated with her family to Koochiching County, MN, near Littlefork, where her family homesteaded in 1908. His father, Edward F. Adams, was born in Waseca County, MN, and grew up in New Richland. John grew up in southwest Minneapolis, attended Annunciation Catholic School (1952) and DeLaSalle High School, graduating as valedictorian (1956). He received a scholarship to the University of St Thomas where he graduated in 1960 with a BA in Economics, followed by graduate school at the U of MN, receiving his MA (economics and statistics, 1962) and PhD (urban economic geography, 1966). He taught at The Penn State U (1966-70), and then returned to the Department of Geography at the U of MN in 1970, where he taught until retiring in 2007. John's work life began as a paper carrier for the Star Tribune where he learned the lessons of dependability and doing things correctly. Even as a child he was an economist, maintaining cash flow ledgers to monitor the flow of money in (mostly) and out (sometimes). During high school and through college he worked in the produce department at Weber's SuperValu, eventually becoming the produce department manager; he focused on making sure the displays were nicely arranged and that the customers felt appreciated. John was a committed life-long learner who studied and lived his life in accordance with the mission statement of the University of St Thomas: Inspired by Catholic intellectual tradition, St. Thomas educates students to be morally responsible leaders who think critically, act wisely, and work skillfully to advance the common good. He carried his early life lessons into his professional career and was intensely focused on working to achieve the mission of the University and his department. He was first and foremost a teacher, intent on helping both undergraduate and graduate students achieve their educational goals. He served as doctoral advisor for 119 successful PhD students from around the globe. In 1975, he was a senior Fulbright Lecturer at the Economic University in Vienna; in 1988 he taught at Moscow State University; and spent 1990-91 as a visiting professor at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. John was drawn into leadership and administration at the University. He served as Chair of the Department of Geography and Senate's Faculty Consultative Committee; director of the School of Public Affairs and of the undergraduate Urban Studies Program; director of the graduate Urban and Regional Planning Program and associate dean in the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. John's engagement with public policy extended beyond academia to civic life, through long involvement with the Citizens League and the Civic Caucus. His research focused on North American cities, urban housing markets and policy, transportation, and regional economic development in the United States and the former Soviet Union. He was a National Science Foundation Research Fellow at the Institute of Urban and Regional Development, UC-Berkeley; economic geographer-in-residence at the Bank of America world headquarters in San Francisco. John's commitment did not end at the University. He made sure to be home every evening precisely at 6:00 pm so that he could enjoy dinner with his family. Dinnertime conversations focused on the day's activities and things going on in the world. John and Judith entertained many over the years at the family cabin on Windigo Lake in Hayward, Wisconsin, where John especially enjoyed one-on-one conversations in front of the fire. At the cabin, he enjoyed doing chores, professional reading from his chair in front of the fireplace, and a cocktail and mixed nuts before dinner. Breakfast and dinner were family events to be accomplished in a single seating, with John manning the waffle iron or the charcoal-fired grill. He traveled the world with Judith to see their children and grandchildren. He made the effort to show up for others and for things that were important to people. He was a good husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle. friend and person. He made a difference in the lives of others and in the world through his work, charity and kindness. John is predeceased by his parents, Ellen and Edward, sister Mary Theresa and brother James. He is survived by his wife, Judith Nielsen Adams, their four children: John D. (Andria Nicholson); Ellen Birch (Stephen Birch); Martin (Colleen); and David (Stephanie); nine above average grandchildren, one wonderful great-granddaughter; siblings Madonna, Millicent Dosh, and Edward (Sue); and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and godchildren. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5029 Zenith Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55410. Visitation at 10am; Mass at 11am; luncheon immediately after, at the church and burial at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis. <![CDATA[Star Tribune Obituaries: Obituaries]]> (36)

Adelmann, Patrick "Pat" Charles was born in 1954 into a hard-working family, the fifth of nine children of Charles and Elizabeth (Betty Lou) Adelmann, with an extensive extended family. Their home in Bloomington was very modest and resources were limited. However, the still semi-rural community was a benefit, allowing the boys more freedom to play, ride bikes, scooters, and tractors, skate, care for their three ponies and get into "trouble". There was a lot to do, and everyone had responsibilities. Never one to shy away from hard work and preferring to work outside, Pat made a career in the construction business as a skilled mason for Gresser Companies. He was meticulous, with standards as high as his patience was low. He was promoted to management and was a tough taskmaster. We never wondered from which parent he inherited those traits. And like his parents, Pat also did for others, helping whenever anyone needed cement work, or anything, done. Pat's move to Farmington was likely the most positive experience and opportunity of his life. He delighted and thrived in working in his large yard and added gardens and vintage accessories from local auctions. Pat's home was his sanctuary, but he also appreciated its proximity to local activities and attractions, where he connected with the locals and found his niche. His rear yard garage was overflowing with vintage "stuff", but also equipped with everything a guy needed to welcome friends, became a neighborhood hangout, where they shared a cold beer and tall tales. For several years, health issues compromised Pat's quality of life. His lifetime of very hard work, combined with inherited heart weaknesses, brought much pain and frustration. He struggled, yet persevered and pursued countless resources, surgeries, and procedures. In Pat's last conversation with a sibling, he expressed optimism! He discussed plans for his yard in the Spring and looked forward to finally feeling like himself, renewing relationships - and living! With this spirit of hope and optimism, Pat closed his eyes at the end of 2023 and opened them in the New Year of New Life in his Everlasting Home with Jesus! Forever in our hearts! The Memorial service for Pat will be held on Tuesday, February 20, at Assumption Catholic Church in Richfield. Visitation begins at 10:00, with the service at 11:00. The burial ceremony and blessings will follow at Assumption Cemetery adjacent to the church. Following this ceremony, Pat's family invites those attending to gather in the church for a luncheon and warm conversations and connections with friends and family. We look forward to hearing about your memories of our brother. Pat is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Betty Lou Adelmann. He is survived by eight siblings and many nieces and nephews, plus many cousins and a loyal network of friends. www.GILLBROTHERS.com BLOOMINGTON, MN 952.888.7771

Adelmann, Elizabeth "Beth" Lucille 63, was born the eighth of nine children of Charles and Betty Lou Adelmann. Closest in age to five boys, Beth became independent, spirited and perseverant, yet bright, creative, and thoughtful. Raised in Bloomington by her hardworking family, Beth spent most of her adult life living in Northfield. She was a country girl at heart, raising her three children on a small farm where they all enjoyed the freedom that comes with open skies and fresh air. She was a private person, who made keen observations, not missing the big picture or the small detail. She could find the beauty and treasure in everything. Beth's family meant the world to her, and she had a special ability for remembering those she loved with the perfect small token of affection, whether it be a cute cow figurine, a favorite candy or a funny card. Her role as Grandma was her favorite. She would always join her grandchildren in play like she was one of the kids and made sure they knew what a big deal each of them was to her. Beth has been described as someone with a special"spark" and if you knew Beth, you know this to be true. We will all miss her spark and hold her close in our hearts always. Beth is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Elizabeth (Betty Lou) Adelmann, as well as brother Patrick, niece Lisa, and sister-in-law Marguerite. She is survived by her children Angela (Wayne), Rachelle (Ryon) Simon, Jacob (Katy); grandchildren CJ (Nick), Tyson, Avangeline, James, Sam, Evelyn and Waylon.
